Have been meaning to drop into this wonderful store, and today was the day. What a fantastic quality array of everything under the sun, fruits, nuts, snacks, nourishing, dried vegetables, and other delicious offerings. I loaded up on candy ginger and the biggest Brazil nuts I’ve ever seen walnuts, and so much more, I will be giving them all my business from now on what a great place to go. Just if you’re walking around in North Burnaby pop in you won’t believe it.
Very clean and neat. The customer service was excellent, with Nana helping us in a friendly and welcoming manner. He was willing to help with anything and not pushy at all. Very happy to shop here. Veggie chips are delicious too.
I stumbled upon this store with a friend by accident a while ago and now I purposely take a different bus after work just to go to this specific store to stock up on some sweet treats. I love dried fruits but buying them anywhere else is so expensive so it was such surprise to see how affordable it is in Ayoub’s! My favourites are the dried mango, strawberries, hibiscus, and sweet cherry. Aside from the treats, I keep coming back here because of the amazing customer service from the staff. They are all so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. And of course a huge and special shout out to Nana, they always make every visit special. Nana recommends different treats for us to try depending on what we purchased in the past. This lets us try different treats that we otherwise wouldn’t have thought we would like, plus they’re one of the kindest people to walk on the planet and this really just makes the treats we buy sweeter. I will definitely be coming back again and again and again! :))
First time visiting today, left with several items and absolutely amazed with JC and his level of knowledge and customer service. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, I was even given the opportunity to sample some items. I left extremely satisfied I believe it's important to support local/small businesses, this is even easier when they have such a large selection and amazing staff. I would highly recommend visiting the store if you have the opportunity, there really is a lot of options and something for everything
I love this company! So much choice in dried fruits and nuts. Everything is fresh and looks well-tended. At least at the location on Main Street it's not self-serve: the clerk will give you how much you'd like.
I had a great experience buying nuts from this store! The quality of the products was excellent—fresh and delicious. I also want to give a special shoutout to Sahel, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Their customer service really made the visit even better. Highly recommend this place!
This was my first time at the store and I will definitely be back! The service was amazing, Nana was incredibly friendly and offered samples to be sure we would be happy with our purchase. The store is very clean and beautifully presented with a great selection. I’m excited to try more next time! The chocolate toffee covered almonds are amazing and the freshness of the nuts are 10/10.
